Hello,

Hopefully, fall will be just around the corner. I’m looking forward to cooler temperatures and making more homemade bread. Making your own bread smells and tastes so good and it can save you money. When I look at the cost of the ingredients in a loaf of bread, we can still make a healthy loaf of bread from freshly ground wheat for about $1. So if you are in the market for a great deal this fall, you might consider making your own bread from freshly ground flour.

We have several items of news to share. This fall Wheat Montana is continuing to offer chemical free grains and they’ve added organic Prairie Gold Wheat and organic Bronze Chief Wheat. This is a nice choice for those who like to eat an organic diet. We are also introducing Pure Maple Syrup freshly bottled in Wisconsin. I really enjoy this product. Not only is it tasty, it is processed by The Wilderness Fellowship Ministries. This ministry provides a “place of refuge, peace, restoration and hope…” for individuals and families. A big thanks to Suzie Denney for telling me about this opportunity. Her brother runs this ministry, extracts and bottles the syrup. Most of the proceeds from the sale of this syrup will go toward funding this ministry. You might consider giving it a try.

I have kept ours the same but in the spring the freight charges will go up to match what Wheat Montana is currently charging.) Delivery of our order to Missouri will, hopefully, be in about a month. You will be contacted when your order arrives and you will have one week to pick up your order. We live in southwest Springfield near Campbell and Plainview Roads.
